Mixing Channels

Passive mixing of chemicals inside serpentine, bifurcating, herring-bone mixing microchannel devices. Device utilizes no energy input except the pumping instrument used to actuate the fluid flow at a constant rate. These devices are mostly used for flow chemistry purposes. In flow chemistry, a chemical reaction is run in a continuously flowing stream rather than in batch production. If these fluids are reactive, a reaction takes place. Integration is also possible and well-applied with special activation methods such as light, heating, magnetic forces, etc
