Fittings and Connectors
Having microfluidic chips requires connection and flow of sample liquids inside microchannels.
When one have the sample in syringe and need to use syringe pumps we have fitting parts for syringe to tubing and tubing to chip. Silicon tubing is also available.
Currently, all microfluidic vendors globally, have their own standards of chip design and connection solutions. Here, as uFluidic.com, we are trying to be as public up-to-date but at the same time we should also determine some dimensions.
All the fittings and connector parts are metric in dimension and generally the inner diameter (ID) is accepted to be around 1.0 mm and to do so outer diameter (OD) is mainly 2.0 mm.
